So I used to have a report that gave me a list of all adults in our troop, either email address, and the merit badges they taught.
I can no longer access it.
I am now in Scoutbook Plus and am trying to generate the report again. It says I don’t have permission.

But I’m not sure how to interpret it. The “permissions” field for most options is blank. Does this mean everyone on that row can do it or nobody on that row can do it?
I think I am looking for “Report Builder”, as that is where I used to go to build my report.
Does someone in our troop have to add me as “unit support” maybe so I can generate the reports?
@StevenSheldon - the grid is noting those registered positions and functional roles that would have access to the report builder.
OK, can my Committee Chair designate me in one of those Functional Positions?

@StevenSheldon what you are looking for is in Roster Builder. You would need Report Security. The PDF below shows the Matrix.
You would need one of these - Asst. Cubmaster, Asst. Den Leader*, Asst. Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, Council Unit Representative, Cubmaster, Chartered Organization Rep., Den Leader , Exploring Post Advisor, Scoutmaster, Skipper, Venturing Crew Advisor, COR/CUR Delegate, Den Support, Key 3 Delegate, Sub-Unit Support*, Unit Support
I’m aware of the matrix; I posted it in my first post.
The problem is my CC is not seeing “Unit Support” in Permission Manager.
Maybe he is in the wrong app. He says there is no “Unit Support” option in my.scouting position manager.
Evidently he needs to be in advancements.scouting.org.
It’s not clear to me what the correct entry point is anymore. Are we supposed to log into Scoutbook or Scoutbook Plus?
For the Scoutbook Platform - Scoutbook+ (advancements.scouting.org) should be the start point.

@StevenSheldon - I posted screen shots of where the committee chair needs to be. They need to scroll all the way down the page to find the unit support functional role
I forwarded him your message. I think he’s in the wrong app/url.
It is resolved. CC was in old Scoutbook. Even better, my old report was still there to run!
@StevenSheldon - that is great news. Let the CC know to NOT use Legacy Scoutbook.
But when SHOULD legacy Scoutbook be used? It appears that I as an MBC can only connect with Scouts and update MB requirements on Legacy.
@SteveHanson Currently MBC functions and Payment Logs.

Currently, MBCs marking requirements Counselor Approved must do so in classic Scoutbook. Units can connect MBCs to counselors in classic Scoutbook as well. Marking requirements or the overall MB Leader Approved is done in SB+.
The payment logs are moving to SB+ on 13 April per a recent change log post. That’s the only other thing still in classic Scoutbook.
Everything else should be managed in SB+ already.
