@StacyHaworth what exactly are you reporting? What Reports are failing for you? What Advancements?

You cannot do group entry of adventures for cub scouts.
You cannot run an advancement report to order items.
You cannot run 99% of the available reports.
You have to float between the old system and the new system to enter belt loops etc.
It appears they didn’t actually test scout books plus and make sure it worked properly before rolling out out.
It’s a nightmare to get things entered.
I want to know when the entirety of the system is going to be fixed by national
The Needs Approval/Purchasing/Awarding Reports should still be done in Legacy Scoutbook for now - and all the Reports are in Legacy.
In SB+ on the Roster page > there is a Unit Quick Entry > an admin can click that and enter Adventures
We I am in legacy scoutbook and click on reports it automatically opens a new tab and takes you to the new scoutbooks.
So how do you propose we run reports in legacy?
Same issue when I click Quick entry and then enter adventure, automatically opens a new tab and takes me to scoutbooks plus. How do you enter in legacy? This is what you are telling us to do however the system will not allow it.
Unit Reports stays in Legacy, so I am not sure where you are clicking. All Pack Advancement is (and has been for over a year) in Scoutbook Plus. Watch the Youtube video on Quickentry above.
For a while now (over 2 years), most all reports from Legacy Scoutbook and Scoutbook + have opened with the Scoutbook+ “wrapper.” They are the same reports and unchanged, just accessible from both systems (especially now from Scoutbook+ in the past few weeks) with same look from both systems. Sometimes there are errors with accessing reports based on registered and functional positions (or perceived positions), along with connections and Scoutbook positions. If a report fails to run, this is often times the issue and needs reporting to determine if the report’s security coding is correct, or if the person running the report needs more appropriate position to run the report. There are a very few select reports only available in legacy Scoutbook that are hard coded into this system and will be migrated to the modern reporting engine and modality in the transition from legacy Scoutbook to Scoutbook+.

Last time we tried to run the report to order the belt loops it would not do it.
it just throws errors.
had to hand type the order and then didn’t have the item numbers.
Has that reporting been fixed?
@StacyHaworth - i just tried the needs approval, needs purchasing and needs awarding from the dashboard and unit pages in scoutbook.scouting.org and they all worked.

See below an attached screenshot from our advancement chair for the pack
It is not allowing her to do the group advancement
When she picks the the belt loop as you can see on the far left it won’t
let her do select all all of the kids’ names are grayed out and
underneath it says not started
I of course had to blow their names because you guys say not to post any
names
Any idea what is causing this malfunction in the system
And when she tries to do the purchase requisition and Scout books she
still gets an error and it won’t pull the report
There must be something set up wrong for our advancement person
@StacyHaworth - are all of the scouts in their appropriate dens and is she listed as advancement chair as a functional role in my.scouting.org
