Hello, I’m committee chair for our pack and we’re having our award ceremony this weekend. We discovered an active youth member (ID 141753699) who is not in Scout Book. How can we/I get him in Scout Book ASAP?

Thank you. I did that and he now appears on the roster as you said, but I noticed his renewal status is “opted out,” and the toggle for Dropping is switched to red or on. That doesn’t seem right. His membership status is good through 9/30/26. Please advise.
If that is on - someone opted him out - I think it is reversible? Maybe in my.scouting.org roster?
The parent might need to opt back in at my.Scouting under “My Applications”.
Under the Memberships" tab should be a button to click to opt in or out of renewing.

If opting back in has to be done in my applications, it sounds like that’s something I can’t do for him, which is why you suggested a parent should, but I just wanted to confirm the leaders can’t somehow do it too. Just trying to get it done more quickly instead of having to bother a parent with it. Thanks
I think it’s too far out to be done by the unit right now. Once you get within the renewal window, then the unit should be able to do it.
OK great thank you! The weird thing is this is the first year for this scout so opting out shouldn’t even be an option until you’re up for renewal.
