YPT Status Report gives 404 error

Every time I try to check the status of my leaders YPT training, I am getting a 404 error.

Outside of Scoutbook, I get an authentication failed message when I try to view the same report via the my.scouting.org site.

I also get the 404 message on my.scouting.org on the YPT reports page.

This is a known issue with my.scouting.org, which is where Scoutbook obtains the reports. The BSA is aware of the problem and is working on a fix.

In the meantime, if you have access to the Training Manager at my.scouting.org, you can use it to get the YPT status.

  1. Go to the Training Manager.
  2. Click on “Search Training” (icon looks like a magnifying glass).
  3. Select the names of the adult leaders or select all using the green checkmark.
  4. Click on “Print Member Training Report” (icon looks like a document).

Page 1 of the report will give you the YPT status.

I was able to get on my.scouting.org today to get what I needed. It wasn’t working yesterday either when I posted this about Scoutbook.

This is giving the 404 error again, today.

In general, if they are redirecting more and more SB items to my.scouting, then they need to make my.scouting more responsive. Are they running it on a 56k modem?

my.scouting.org has a fix currently being tested. It should be released soon.
