0% trained on training.scouting, trained through Cubmaster on my.scouting

Hi,

Reviving an old topic, didn’t close out on the answer. I show training completions through Cubmaster on my.scouting.org, and I show up appropriately on the trained leader report. Training.scouting.org shows 0% completion for cub scout position training.

In the past, after I’d completed the required training, I found exploring Training.scouting to be really useful for understanding roles beyond den leader. But every role showing 0%, I’m not sure where I stand other than trained to Cubmaster, and I’d like to be able to see where I stand when looking for new things to learn.

When I started as a den leader I had three IDs, which were subsequently merged. I assume that I did the training using an older ID, which training.scouting.org is referencing, but which was deprecated during the merge, while my.scouting.org is looking at the merged data.

Is it possible to update whatever table holds the training.scouting history with the correct ID, or insert the training data from my.scouting to the table that drives training.scouting?

@CharlesBabington - if my.scounting.org and the trained leader report there show your trained then you are trained. I suspect what you are seeing is the training page will have the updated training as its reference. As an example I show 1% completed for committee chair, but I am trained in my position due to an older CC class being completed. So you are trained

I believe that means the courses required to be trained have changed since you took them. That is your percentage complete based on the current requirements. However, you are grandfathered in based on any positions that you continue to hold in which you were fully trained, which should be reflected with the trained patch on my.scouting.

It you are trained for a position and there is any lapse in continuity of registration for that position (not sure if that is unit specific) you roll to new training for the position so you can drop to 0%

Looks like National toggled on the currency requirement for Hazardous Weather, SCO_800.

Training requirement is every two years.

That may be the culprit.

If this affects you, update your Haz Weather and see if the system updates you.
