Add Event to Calendar problems in SB - Account merging a solution?

Hello,

I am looking to resolve a long-standing issue where I seem to have limited functionality in Scoutbook, and most consequentially, unable to add events to the calendar. Fortunately, I can add advancements for my scouts and I can send out messages - but that’s really about the extent of it, so I need to find some resolution on the calendar issue.

Talking with the rest of our leadership, it seems the issue may stem from multiple accounts/Member IDs floating out there. I was advised that merging these into one active account might resolve the issue. Apparently, this has been brought up before based on reading past threads on this forum. I would like to see if this might also work for me.

I found two accounts on my.Scouting, but I honestly do not know what the difference is between both:

  1. 14748685
  2. 14748689 (Primary)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

@MikeGorski the wrong BSA # is primary - I fixed that and cleaned things up - I set an overnight sync to fix your positions - I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number

@MikeGorski After the overnight sync runs, you will need a Pack Admin to reassign you as a den leader and den admin to your assigned den. The Den Admin role will give you access to edit the den calendar.
