Did we already ask what your role is in the unit? I’m wondering if that plays some part. I’m a Key 3 Delegate for mine.

Hunh. I didn’t realize that den leaders had the ability to add activities to the event logs. Are you also designated in the Organizational Security Manager at my.scouting.org as a Key 3 Delegate or as Unit Advancement Chair?

In our Pack, the den leaders enter the achievements and activities into Scoutbook.com and the United Leader (Cubmaster) approves them.
I was referring less to the policy aspects of it and more to the software permissions. I understood that when the logs were moved from Scoutbook to IA2, that the permissions were restricted as a result of limitations within IA2. The interface snapshots you provided correspond to IA2, even if it’s being reached from within Scoutbook.
Can someone from SUAC comment on whether access restrictions for the logs are different at the pack level than at the troop level? Maybe I just missed a change and it hasn’t been caught in the help documentation yet.
ETA: This looks interesting. Since I assume that the underlying code is basically the same for all of the logs, this might be what’s going on with your entry @ShannonMaltbie_Davis.
@ShannonMaltbie_Davis - just for validation, could one of the unit key 3 as in Cubmaster, Committee Chair or Charter Org Rep take a look at the activities in scoutbook.scouting.org and see if they find them listed.
Den Leaders currently have edit access to the logs. ASMs do not. Though, I think we’d like to see that added.
There was another post indicating that activities with a name over a certain length were not saving. Could you try a much shorter name?

It appears that it the length of the name of the activity. Once I shortened the name the activity posted correctly.
