We are trying to add a BSA scout as a Den Chief through Scoutbook. We have already successfully added 2 this year, and have done so many times in the past. So, we are familiar with the process.
This year we have one scout, and the parent has provided not only the information for the scout, but screen shots of the BSA scout’s information directly from Scoutbook, so we know they are registered and current with BSA. I have a correct BSA number, and unless the parent doesn’t know their child’s birthday, all of the information we have entered is correct (BSA number, Last name, Birth date)
So, we get an error “We could not find a matching Scout…”
What is the problem with this one scout? As I’ve said, this would be the 3rd one added this year, and the first 2 were successful.
