Why is this adult, who is a Unit Commissioner, not in the Recipient list in the messaging area? Member ID 117743182.
UCs are not part of the unit, they are a council position. That user has a past Executive Officer position for the Unit in SB it seems and XOs do not get messages for units. I can easily end the XO position.

I believe he is still the Executive Officer to my knowledge, but I could be wrong. I don’t know who was XO before him.
@HeidiMazur Your Executive Officer is the same person as your Chartered Org. Rep.
Your official roster is at my.Scouting.org.
In this case, 14165519 is the XO in my.scouting. But in Scoutbook Plus, 117743182 is the XO and 14165519 is the COR.

@HeidiMazur - i unit commissioner should not even be listed with the unit roster in scoutbook plus. I think you are looking at legacy scoutbook.
I would only use legacy scoutbook for mbc work and pay logs
Looks like he is listed as the Scout Executive in Scoutbook Plus which is why he shows up. He is also our unit commissioner so it was a bit confusing. But, in my.scouting.org, he is not listed in our roster. But, the XO listed in my.scouting.org is 14165519 who is also our COR. So, we have a mismatch in data. Would it make sense to end his XO position in Scoutbook Plus? And this goes for not only Troop 6 but Pack 6 as well because we have the same upper level leadership with XO and COR as we are chartered both by the same org (14165519 is that person).
Legacy SB (“Fake/or Old” Positions) still in Legacy do appear in SB+ until Legacy is retired. You can go to Legacy > Roster > Person > Positions > and put an end date on position. In Legacy these where basically just place holders if they are not in my.scouting.org
@HeidiMazur- a word of caution don’t use scoutbook.scouting.org to add positions nor end valid positions there either.
Thank you for that tip. I am using Scoutbook Plus as much as possible as my first go to.
@HeidiMazur- good…it is advancements.scouting.org for everything except payment logs or if you are a merit badge counselor
