Advancement Chair - No Access to Upload Reports

I am trying to upload a report to Scoutbook under “Internet Advancement.” I am the Unit Advancement Chair. The Scoutmaster has given me full access using the Connections Manager. Under my profile, I am also listed as a “Troop Admin.” Additionally, I have also clicked the red Update button. I have also logged on and off. Despite doing all of this weeks ago, I still do not have access to upload a report. The “Import File” button is still grayed out.

Someone replied to a previous post saying, “to use internet advancement, you need a key3 member to add the advancement chair functional role in organization security manager.”

2 questions:

  1. Is the Organization Security Manager different than the Connections Manager?
  2. What is the step by step process for a key 3 member adding the Advancement Chair Functional Role in the Organization Security Manager?

they log into my.scouting.org > click top left MENU > Click Unit are > click Organization Security Manager > then click unit advancement chair

Note: Unless you are a Key 3+3 you will not see the Organization Security Manager… so you need to have one of those individuals designate you as the Advancement Chair.
