Hi am having another issue with my scoutbook+ account when I try to enter an advancement requirement for 2 of my scouts it’s give me an error saying “user is not authorized to access this API” I had access to mark Off advancement requirement as completed Beacuse sometime I do complete requirements with my scouts when I go Into sb+ it’s let me do a unit search and click on the scouts profile and go under the rank and it’s also let me. Mark the rank off as approved etc so that why am a little bit confused on why I can’t mark a requirement as completed if someone can help me with this that would be great Beacuse sometime I do complete requirements with my scouts during merit badge classes etc
@m20134 - is this a rank item that you are trying to mark off ? Do you have permissions for advancements ?
Yes and yes I do ( as far as I know)
@m20134 - what is your registered position in the troop ?
I don’t have a registered position in a troop am on the district side ( advancement committee I was able to mark this off yesterday in the morning for a different scout ) when I do the first aid merit badge as an MBC there is requirement that go alone with first class second class and tenderfoot so I Would allway put the rank requirement as completed in the system so there was no issue no the troop side am able to mark the rank as completed, award etc but when it’s come to the individual requirements number am having issued
@m20134 - district positions do not have authority on the unit side especially if not registered in the unit the scout is in.
