Scout Leader getting error when updating Scout advancement

I have a Scout Leader (member id 136068044) reporting that after migration to Scoutbook Plus, they are getting an error “User is not authorized to access this API” when trying to update the Star rank advancement for a Scout (member id 14179433). I reverified in Scoutbook that he is still connected and is listed as having full access to the Scout.

@Shih-HsinPeng- this has been noted multiple times and the dev team is aware

I saw in the Scoutbook Plus Change log a bug fix - August 29, 2025 Scoutbook Plus Updates - you are not authorized to access this API

But my scout leader still reports continuing to have this issue - even after clearing browser cache, machine reboot, and even switching to a different browser.

I have the same problem. My ID is 7273681 and the Scout ID is 137134910. I can’t Approve “Active in the Troop” requirement.

If it’s getting that close, have you already verified that none of the unit Key 3 (registered as SM, CC, COR), Key 3 Delegates or Unit Advancement Chair (both functional roles assigned at my.scouting - not Scoutbook! - by any of the Key 3 to a registered scouter) are able to mark it completed? I wasn’t clear if it was just you, or not anyone in your unit? I’ve seen in a few other threads that the folks in the roles I listed above are supposed to have this access, whereas other scouters (like ASMs) are still having issues. Wasn’t sure if this would be a successful work-around for the immediate term.
