Ok I need help. I have put in all the Boy Scouts ranks, merit badges, hiking logs twice. Then after a little while it all disappears and I have to do it all again. I am very frustrated with this and do not know what do to at this point
@bobbyleon well if you are using Internet Advancement it is not ready for Troops yet for advancements - you should be using Legacy Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting.org) for Advancements. Logs are in internet advancement.
If you give some BSA #s (no names) of scouts and examples of what you think is gone we can take a look

ok for example I just updated 134267483 about a month ago and now when I go look everything it gone

Everything is missing, I updated all his Scout ranks, scout, tenderfoot everything. I says he has only done 2 merit badges and he has done way more that that
looks to me this scout had at least 2 “fake accounts” you used to enter advancements that had no BSA# attached to them. Like the Unit just added them. Let me take a look at some things to figure the best way to merge them

@bobbyleon ok waiting to hear back from Developers - but here is what I am 99% sure what has been happening. Someone in you unit in the past (before it was turned off) kept clicking this Add Scout button and making Fake Scouts that were not official. Those Scouts would disappear after 60-90 days as they were not officially in your unit based on BSA#.
So this scout as an example, had 2 other accounts pretty full of advancements on account with no BSA#. I merged the fake account into the real account (which you saw as empty) BUT these advancements are NOT official and NOT Recorded - they need to be approved. (I suggest you take time to watch the video at the bottom on using Scoutbook for advancement to help you and get the scouts record recorded to council correctly.)

Well if the fake accounts have not auto expired - they would show in roster they would NOT have this green shield if no BSA#. BSA# Should have a green shield if they match your unit. But if they have auto-expired you would not see them. You would have to ask for assistance here, for any expired ones as council could not help. For any that are not expired probably best to ask here also for help
