I’m reaching out regarding an issue with our Arrow of Light advancement reporting for three of our Scouts.

The three Scouts affected are:

  • Scout 1 – BSA ID: 14078426
  • Scout 2 – BSA ID: 140326234
  • Scout 3 – BSA ID: 140782894

The issue is that all three Scouts have completed and been checked off for requirements within some of their AOL elective adventures. However, their progress is not being reflected toward their overall Arrow of Light rank.

Specifically:

  • None of the three Scouts are showing a partial completion percentage toward the AOL rank.
  • The green partial-completion/check indicator is not appearing for their AOL rank.
  • When reviewing their individual profiles, there is also nothing showing that they have completed any requirements toward the AOL rank.

This appears to be a system/reporting issue because I have two other AOL Scouts in the same den whose partial advancement is displaying correctly. For those Scouts, their completed requirements are being recognized and their partial AOL progress is showing as expected.

Could you please review these three Scouts’ records and determine why their completed elective requirements are not being recognized toward their AOL advancement?

@DarrenFerlazzo I assume you have gone all the way to the Rank itself to see if it updates?

and I am not 100% sure if Cub partials for adventures carry to the rank partial calculation

Yes I have this is for Scout 14078426.

Even though he completed summertime fun 100% its not showing anything towards AOL completion.

Scout 140782894 is showing the exact same thing.

I wasn’t sure if it would or not, but the other 2 seem to be an issue.

yeah the one completed one is a bug - the other I honestly am not sure of but will ask.

What is a # of a scout where the partial is showing % for the rank?

Kind of wonder about moving them to a bear den and then back to an AOL den to reset them. No advancement data would be lost.

13935777 and 137475362 are showing partial completions

Correct. They have 2 elective requirements completed, so they are 25% complete.

Just tried this…nothing changed.

OK so that seems right on my guess on partial adventures and %.

Correct. Scouts 140782894 and 14078426 one elective completed, but the overall % for AOL complete is showing 0%. It should be 13%.
