I was able to inter-council transfer my AOL to the Troop, yay! (She is still on both rosters counter to what I was told might happen, but I don’t really care as long as the Troop stuff works)
I need to add a MB so we can get it signed off on by SM. I am in Scoutbook; when clicking the typical + Merit Badge, it kicks me back to My Dashboard . Same experience whether I try it from the scout as parent or through Troop Roster as Admin.

@Lithigin that is an OLD MID - in Scoutbook the Scout is in a Troop and Pack - the pack membership needs an end date in SB
I do see that a new BSA ID was generated, thanks, and have updated my record. Are you saying that no MB (or other Troop advancement?) can be done without an end date to pack membership? Does the pack usually do that or does each family need to request it? We’re accelerating the process due to an imminent MB and needing the signoff in Scoutbook.

[Scout]'s Membership page
Click on the Scout’s membership with the pack, add a date ended, and then save.
ok, thank you. There is another AOL in the same position, and I don’t think the family knows they have to do any of this. To reiterate my previous question, “Does the pack usually do that or does each family need to request it?”
@Lithigin - a unit admin in the receiving unit can do this
The parents can also end the Scout’s membership in the pack. It usually works better if one of the unit Admins does it, though. Then I would recommend “Clean Old Connections” on the Scout’s Connection page.
