AOL rank shown as awarded in advancements.scouting.org - but not in my.scouting.org

I have a Cub Scout who has earned his AOL Rank within our Pack. I am the pack’s advancement chair. I am also a key 3 delegate in our troop, which the Cub Scout is transferring into.

His AOL rank was marked as Awarded on 17 July in advancements.scouting.org.for the pack.
Scoutbook Plus IA: Shows Awarded date.
Scoutbook: Shows Awarded date.
My.Scouting.org: “Unit Advancement Details Report” shows Leader Approved on 7/17/2024 but not awarded.

We need to ensure that the Scout’s official records are updated showing that his AOL rank was awarded. Any idea of what the reason for the delay may be in my.scouting.org?

We don’t want to accept his pending application into the troop without ensuring that his AOL has been awarded in my.scouting.org .

Thank you.

The Scoutbook database is the official advancement database of the BSA. The reports from my.scouting.org have been known to be inaccurate.

If you see a difference between SB+ and a my.scouting.org report you will need to ask your Council to open a ticket with BSA member care to get the report fixed.

@WandaSpinner - i would not think to look at my.scouting.org for advancement reporting as that is not the purpose of that site.

@WandaSpinner you probably have to be more specific in the report on where and which report you are referencing. The only adavancement report that I can find in MY.Scouting at a unit level (found on the unit dashboard)m only lists “date earned” and makes no reference to awarded (though to point out for all practical purposes, the only critical date for advancement is date earned [approved]. Awarded is simply an audit date in ScoutBook to keep track at a unit level if the award has been given to the Scout and has no bearing on the actual completion of the rank at any level).
