Correct The outdoor activity award ones are auto-marked completed and I am unable to actually approve those. But it’s not really needed unless that’s the bug?

@MichaelCasella - well has the scout been presented with that belt loop ? It cant be approved because it already was the belt loop that is.

@MichaelCasella Correct me if my summary is incorrect:

  1. You run a Needs Approval Report and it lists requirements that need approval for an award
  2. The award itself is already approved.
  3. When you try to approve the requirements via the report, it gives an error
  4. If you approve the requirements individually through the Award page, it works.

Hi Gary,
No. The “already awarded” awards are NOT showing up in the “Needs approval report”. (they showed up in the “export/advencement” report though)

  1. I run the report and see valid requirements that need to be “approved”
  2. I am able to approve these one at a time if desired by navigating to the requirement/award pages by scout
  3. If I click on “approve all” in the “needs approval report”, I get that error. every time.

@MichaelCasella - already awarded items will never show in needs approval, but I think the workflow process is the issue here

@Stephen_Hornak Its the individual requirements though. It sounds like needs approval is hiding them if the overall award is already approved.

Correct. It is requirements for award (or rank) showing up in the needs approval report. The requirements are marked complete by myself OR others.

I am willing to do a screenshare if that is a real option to troubleshoot live

@MichaelCasella Thanks - I am trying to replicate the issue, but at the moment none of the completed requirements are showing in my Needs Approval report for an award that is already approved. I will send you a DM

DEVS found some bug in approve all for sub-units - so just manually do it and move on - watch change log for fix
