Up until last night (11-17-25) I was able to mark attendance in Scoutbook Plus. Last night after logging in and selecting the nights Troop meeting, no radio buttons were appearing beside the scouts and adults names when I expanded the attendance list. Another member of the advancement committee logged in and had the radio buttons available. I checked with my local council office today and my membership and positions are current. How do I get my capability to mark attendance restored?
@KevinHerriman Unit key 3 needs to review this that has been posted for several weeks - A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.
One of my Unit’s Key 3, went in an approved the suggested positions for me in Scoutbook Plus. The positions for me now show in Scoutbook Plus, however, the only change in Scoutbook plus for me when I login is the phrase in red font, ”*messaging opt out” beside each adult and scout name in the drop down list when I go to mark attendance. The radio button mark someone as attending is still not showing. The Key 3 member approved my positions on the morning of November 14, so that should have been time for system updates to occur. Are we missing something else in the procedure? Thank you for your time.
