This week, I found that I can no longer record attendance at our Scout meetings in the Scoutbook Plus Calendar. It’s been there before, but now I can just look at the invitees, but I can no longer do quick attendance.
What are your registered and functional (at my.scouting not Scoutbook) roles? As the blue banner at the top of the page says, the permissions structure has been completely changed, and aside from the default permissions, units need to reassign permissions for most scouters in their units.
Assistant Scoutmaster and Unit Advancement Chair
Neither of those positions can edit the calendar by default. See Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video.
Bah! I want things to stop changing! Scouts does not pay us enough to put up with this.
OK, I am now Assistant Scoutmaster, Advancement Awarder, Calendar Editor, Advancement Approver, and Unit Advancement Chair, and Profile Editor, and I STILL can’t edit the calendar, and I just figured out that I can’t add activities to the activity logs. This are primary responsibilities of mine, so if anyone knows how to help, I would appreciate it.
@BrandonRector if positions where just given it can take time for them to come into play - up to 24 hours
definitely been 24 hours, but i’m watching the video.
Yeah something is not right??? Hard to check or deal with on Sunday
