I ran a Scout BSA History Report and the Camping, Hiking, Service hours dont show up the same as on the Scout’s profile page.
I ran the Audit log report and it shows the entries and matched the Scout Profile Page totals. But this audit log report is so difficult to read as Scout Name is blank - preventing basic excel filters from working. Each entry should have the Scout Name filled at the minimum and avoid blank rows in CSV format.
In ScoutBook Plus I went to Roster → Advancements → History and surprisingly it shows minimal information after adjusting the dates to “All” - Isn’t the history view supposed to show each and every event - Hiking, Service, Camping, MB, Rank etc?
It would also be nice to see who approved an event and which date?
@JigneshShah1- you would need to look at the activity log report
I already did.. See my comment. With a troop of 100+ kids the activity report is filled with blank rows and entries without scout name in Column B.
Either the Unit Activity Report should be able to run for a single scout (Roster - Advancements - History - lets you filter by Scout name) or the Blank rows and no Scout Name should be fixed to enable Excel filters, Pivots etc
Also the totals from:
Unit Activty Reports matches Scout Profile page
Unit Activity Report and Scout BSA report - Do not Match for Service, Camping, Hiking Totals
@JigneshShah1- your post title and your statement in the post say audit log. I will ask if all of the scouts have a date joined scouts bsa in their profile page. The blank spaces in column b are because the entries are for the person listed above them. If i have 5 entries the first line has my name the remaining four are blank then the totals line.
@JigneshShah1- some member id numbers where there is a difference in totals would help the SUAC locate an issue
Member ID: 131082030
On Scouts Profile/Unit Report totals are:
Camping: 62 Nights, Hiking: 93.7 Miles, Service: 81 Hours
On Scouts BSA History Report
| Total Service Hours |
76 |
| Total Hiking Miles |
67.70 |
| Total Camping Nights |
54 |
Apparently some Camping, Hiking, Service entries are not getting accounted. But we have no way to figure out which one’s are those?
@JigneshShah1- in the scout profile page click on on of the logs listed and that will bring up their record of those items. Also have you checked for the date joined scouts BSA on the profile ??
OK @JigneshShah1 - so you are saying you are getting different results where you look?
History Report
Profile?? can you post screenshot of the top right area that show the Log numbers without personal data
And Unit Log report?
On the Reports what are the REF #s?
Date Joined Scouts BSA [DATE]
@JigneshShah1- nope.. not where i said to check… here:

In scoutbook plus
Scout BSA Report Ref: ref: PD-20251001084007-237598-524616
Correct .. I pasted the text .. Here is the screenshot
@JigneshShah1- there needs to be a date there or the numbers will be off for sure and the OA report will not work for them
Yeah the Joined date is needed to put up a fence on date range

@JigneshShah1- and you need to have that date in for EVERY scout
Where do I source this date from?
Simplest answer is the date of the Troop membership in Legacy Scoutbook Memberships. Or just a guess - it is PURE audit data and does not effect the scouts records - it just limits reporting

A post was split to a new topic: Membership help
Thanks .. That fixed it. Couple of questions:
Should we clean up this thread to protect the “membership ID” or its OK.
Is there a way to determine who approved the Activity Log events? We have a few admins to help balance the workload so it would be nice to see how approved what?
