No recently added activities appear in the Activity Tracker Totals that appear on Scouting History reports. For example, New Campout nights are not added to the scouts’ total nights; likewise, new Service hours are not added to the total hours. How do we fix?
@ClaytonHealy- do the entries show up in the activity log report ?

They do not show up…. I see them in the activity logs; they are assigned at the individual level. But when I run the Scouts BSA History Report, they do not appear in the totals.
I’m confused by your question….I have always created a new activity, added the individual Scouts and Adults, added the details, and saved. In the past, this worked just fine. And that’s what I have done with the new activities. —- Are you referring to assigning the hours or nights? These are added at the group level.. Wouldn’t that assign them to everyone that I included in the Activity?

here is an example… this is a 2 night entry into the Activity log and the Scout BSA history Report for one of the scouts that has been included in the activity via the activity logs “Add Persons” process.

We are a new Troop, Chartered in September. Some of our Scouts are dual-listed in another Troop; all activities with the other Troop (old troop) are included in the totals. However, 100% of activities in the newly formed troop are not included in the totals. This includes all activities for new scouts registered with the new troop only.
Hello, Other than this Forum, is there a Service line we can contact to submit a help ticket to resolve issues like this?
@ClaytonHealy- there is no service line to call. The only other choice is to have your council enter a member care ticket
@ClaytonHealy as I suggested before - I think a screenshare will answer questions on both what you are seeing and doing

I think I don’t understand your request, can you be more specific. In the Activity Log, I have a campout created. it has 4 scouts and 2 adults. When we run the Scouts BSA History Report, the totals are incorrect. In my Example, I have two scouts that went on their first Campout with the Troop (2 nights), their History report shows zero ……. attached is the scout’s BSA History report for one of those scouts. Also attached is the Activity Log entry for the example activity. After I noticed this problem, I looked at other scouts, and it appears that NO, as in zero, Activities that have been added to the Activity log for our Troop 7053 are being included in the Scout BSA history report totals for any type (campout nights, service hours, and Hiking Miles). It almost seems that our Troop isn’t included in the backend data source
@ClaytonHealy- what happens if you un-check the All Day event and save ? None of our campouts, service and hike logs have that checked. Have you also selected adults and youth ?
It just makes me add a Start and end Time. It doesn’t fix the Scouts BSA history report. This isn’t just for Campout Actives, this is happening to all activities we enter into the Activity Log: service hours and hikes. What’s strange is that I am seeing totals for scouts who previously were in other troops. So if I run a Scouts BSA history report for a scout who transferred into our new troop, I see her history from her old troop, BUT none of the activities completed within our new troop get added to her history.

@stephen_Hornak and @DonovanMcNeil I don’t understand. I replied to Donovan with Screenshots. Is there something specific I can provide? It really looks like it’s because we are a new Troop and that, for some reason, our Troop isn’t being included in the data calculation that feeds into the “Scouts BSA History Report.”
@ClaytonHealy later today I can setup a live screenshare with you - then I can see the actions you are taking. I am pretty sure it is how you are entering the Activites so they are not recording

@DonovanMcNeil Okay, it seems odd, as I have been adding activities for years with the old troop without any problems, and only with the new Troop 7053 is this happening. Pretty sure it’s not how I am entering data, as that’s been consistent.
@DonovanMcNeil For Example.. here is a service activity that I entered into the Activity log. It shows 12 attending (scouts + adults). When I click on it.. I see the 2nd image, everything appears to be entered correctly, no different then I have ever done before (old Troop 7071). However these service hours are not added to the Scout totals when I run “Scouts BSA History Report” I am seeing this with Campout nights as well. Its like all data in the activity log that is under our new Troop 7053 is not being included….. when I look at scouts that I entered data for under the old troop 7071, their service hours, camp nights, and hike miles are included - the total reflects what I would expect. but even those scouts don’t have the new troop 7053 activity data added in.. Meaning it is not isolated per scouts, its at the Troop level. And because I have not changed how I enter data, i am led to believe this is a system glitch, where it is not including the data from the new troop.
