BSA and our United Methodist Church partners recently issued updates on our continuing relationship. These updates were published by Bishop John Schol, UMC Leadership Team Chair and Roger Mosby, Chief Scout Executive.
Updates include:
- Charter Renewal for units are now extended through June 30th, 2022
- UMC and BSA stress that membership renewal should be moving forward and are separate from Charter Renewal (Annual Charter Agreements)
- Reaffirming a desire to have a future relationship to serve together
