All of a sudden (noticed end of October) I can no longer edit my Scoutbook events nor take attendance in events. I am scoutmaster so I have all the right permissions, but it’s still not working. How do I contact someone in Scoutbook to fix this? All I see are forums which is frustrating.
@ConnieMollison- are these events for a single unit ? I just checked and I can edit events as Committee Chair.
@ConnieMollison Looking at your positions / roles in Scoutbook, you have a Unit Advancement Chair role in the G troop that is unapproved, which might be causing issues. I recommend going into Scoutbook (legacy), mark it as position approved, and then save. Because you are registered as Scoutmaster, you do not need this additional role, so you could add an end date to it after it is position approved.
In the B troop, you are registered as a Committee Member, but in Scoutbook, your position is Assistant Scoutmaster. I’m not sure what your position is supposed to be, but things work better when the positions are the same. So if you are supposed to be registered as ASM, then I recommend asking your Chartered Org. Rep. change your registered position at my.Scouting using the Position Manager.
Another issue is that you have 2 usernames (logins) at my.Scouting. I would recommend asking your local council to merge them for you.
