at one point this year scout 135692429 was a den chief in my webelos den. they got unassigned and dropped from the pack roster. They got added back to the pack roster but now i can not reassign them to the den, getting error that they already are assigned.
@RobertWillhelm so help me understand. When you go to Pack Roster and have the Den Chief Filter turned on - you see the DC? When you go to Edit Den, you do not see the DC in the DC list? Do you get that error for all dens?

So you cannot apply DC to that Webelos Den, what about others?
yes i could add the DC to another den, removed the DC from that Den and tried to add the DC to the Den the DC is assigned to.
DCs we cannot see that clearly - I think I would have the Troop remove the position from the scouts record and try again.
Does the DC show in the Unit Roster?
yes the DC does show in the unit roster. I removed one of DC Leader postions for dc, which was dated as yesterday, updated one that had an end date but was the most recent election. this dropped the DC off the Pack roster. readded to Pack roster, approved through email link. DC showed back up in roster but still getting this error when I try to place scout in the correct den
any ideas? still can’t add the Scout to the Den they are DC of
Has the troop removed the DC positions from the scout?
@RobertWillhelm I can just delete the scouts DC positions to see if it solves it

OK - looks like the Webelos DC position was ended and a new DC was started. I will end all DC positions and see if that clears it out.
thats what i just tried. i think there is something set in the database table for the WeBeLoS den, i don’t think this is on the Scouts side.
yeah we looked at the DB Table - and it is not for that den is the annoying part
and the scout is still allowed to be a den chief in other dens, just not the WeBeLoS
it is still being looked at - watch the change logs
looking over last post and had to delete left the scouts name on a picture
