When I try to add a small boat sailing counselor to a scout, I get this message: “Sorry - the extension feature to quick add the MBC is unavailable at this time. When an expected Scoutbook update is released, it should work again. Please monitor the Change Log in the Forums. Until then, you can use the Scout’s connection page to add MBC’s”
When I go the MB Counselor list to find someone for that MB, I get the exact same message.
Google Chrome. Happens with any Scout I try. Only seems to happen for that specific merit badge. Appreciate any help.
@DanielSenden Search is messed up - MBCs can add themself if they use LEgacy Scoutbook - they go to My Connections > Click ADD - enter in Scout info.
It looks like the Extension is failing - not Scoutbook - try turning off the extension
It looks to be a Null result @DanielSenden - if you enter through the warning - then X out the Miles at top Left you get results
I disabled the extension. Now when searching, it shows none in my council and only 19 total worldwide (0 in my state). are you showing the same and if so, how can that be correct?

What MB are you trying to add? If it is a less popular MB and you are in a Council with a small number of MBCs, it could be there are none. Only 19 worldwide means only 19 MBCs for this MB have selected to have their listings returned worldwide. The default listing is Council.

No, 19 worldwide means only 19 have allowed their listing to be shown outside of their Council. There are 28 in my Council, one of whom is listed worldwide.

I suggest contacting your Council and asking them to verify there are no Small Boat Sailing MBCs in the Council.
