In SB+, the MBC appears as registered for the Swimming MB in my Roster Builder Report, along with a current SYT, but the MBC cannot be located in the MBC search or MBC listings. ID 141569560.
141569560 - that number is not an MBC. In fact never has been under that number
Is there any explanation for why he might appear as a Swimming MBC in our troop’s roster report? We know that he did apply, so we have been waiting for this.
I would probably start by having the scouter log in to their my.scouting account and check:
- whether they appear as a MBC for swimming there
- what member ID is reported for that account
It’s possible that the MBC registration isn’t finished propagating and doesn’t show up everywhere yet. It’s possible that the system is seeing multiple Member IDs for the scouter, and the registrations are distributed among them. but your roster is only seeing the Member ID associated with your unit.
@JulieTreichler1 - your source of truth is the MBC listing available to unit key 3 in my.scouting > organization manager > reports

@JulieTreichler1 you would have to post the setting you used for even begin to suggest how it shows that - it is most likely a user setting is wrong in that report your unit made.

@JulieTreichler1 ok @JenniferOlinger noticed. That User is not an MBC, But in their record they are assigned the swimming MB. So that is really odd. Heck I did not know they could even assign an MB if not an MBC,
So that leader needs to register as an MBC
So on your report it might be the Show Leadership positions vs Show Membership Positions - as MBC might not be a Leadership so it does not show in that column.
