Cannot connect to Scout for Merit badges

Scoutmaster and MB counselor here. Using Scoutbook, I cannot connect to any Scout in my Troop, when using either the “Quick Entry” or “Edit merit Badges” selections.

Others in the Troop who are confirmed MB counselor seem to be having the same issue.

@JOSEPHBevivino well those are not for Connecting to a scout - they are for working with scouts you are already assigned as MBC to. Is that what you mean?

You have to click an MB like Chess, then any scout you are Chess MBC of will appear in the list.

@JOSEPHBevivino looking at system - you are not assigned as MBC to any Scout. If you already have a Legacy connection to a scout > you can go to that scout in Legacy > click Connections > click your name > then click Merit Badge Councilor .

Under my connections I show 44. (see below) Is there another step I’m missing? If I’m leading a group merit badge do I need to got to each scout individually and modify their connection o include Merit Badge counselor. (Is that new?)

@JOSEPHBevivino you have 44 connections - but 0 (zero) as a MBC. You are MBC for no scout.

This is not new - in fact it is rather old.

Yes you would either go individually to each scout OR use the Feature Extension to Start MB + add MBC for a group of scouts.

Is it the Group Support using CSV?

Last question - is there a migration plan we can see for SB to SB+

@JOSEPHBevivino everything but MBC actions and Payment Logs are in SB+ now. There are few reasons to touch Legacy anymore.
