@KeithMacNeal when you say Edit Calendar - are you trying to edit existing events? are they 2 unit events? Can you make a simple event for T54?
I can’t edit events currently in the calendar (that I created). I can’t create new events. All are 1 unit events.

I have the same problem with editing events and logging attendance. I am the pack committee chair and all my permissions seem to be correct in the new permissions manager, Create/Remove/Edit/Approve
@EdwardHoward- i am the committee chair of a crew and troop and I just checked and I can edit events. Perhaps a cache issue.
Which permissions were you given?

Activity logs are different from the calendar.
I am having the same problem. I’ve been added to the roster of our girl troop and yet I can still not edit the joined unit event on the calendar.
Has a Key 3 gone to Permissions Manager and turned on Create/Edit/Remove Calendar permission for you?
@EdwardHoward - committee chair is your registered position in my.scouting.org? Either that is not correct or your browser is the issue if you are in fact committee chair.
In the “Currently viewing” dropdown, are you viewing as your committee chair role, or parent role?
I am in Scoutbook as the committee chair and I have used both Safari and Google Chrome browsers with the same results
Is this an event only for Pack 9198 or is it a multi-unit event? You only have calendar edit permission in Pack 9198 not any of the other units where you are registered.
You also do not need PO Creator/Editor permission in Pack 9198. Your Committee Chair position gives you that permission already.

Hello Ed,
Just now I can edit events in the calendar and record attendance for the events since November 4th. We are doing multi-unit events that were scheduled for February that I still cannot edit. They are for two cub packs and two scout units. I will work with the COR to establish the connections I previously enjoyed with these other units.
I too have the Messaging Opt Out showing for our events.
