I believe there was some kind of change/update to Scoutbook Plus recently that has changed my ability to update advancements. I have tried going back through Scoutbook Legacy and when I choose a scout from the roster it just returns me to my profile page in Scoutbook Plus. Is this a known issue that is being addressed? I have had the pack admin reset my permissions, and that did not fix it.

A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.
Hi Stephen. What is a key 3? I am new to scouts and am unsure of all the terms. Is this stating that my position in Scoutbook plus must match my position in Scoutbook Legacy?

@AmyLauth- so the positions in classic scoutbook are meaningless. The key 3 are the Committee Chair, Charter Org Rep and Cubmaster

This was not an issue for me until recently. What exactly are the two locations/platforms that need to match then? Can you provide the URLs so I can make sure I am looking in the correct locations? Or do I simply need to change from the “Den Admin” role in Scoutbook Plus to something on the list below? If that is the case, then I need to instruct the key 3 to change my role in Scoutbook Plus, correct?
@AmyLauth- its not your role that has to be changed but the permissions. You would be under Assistant Den Leader which ONLY gives you send message . The other items would need to be added to you.
