I have a Scout who has earned his Scout rank and is about 50% complete on Tenderfoot, 2nd Class and First Class. He has just earned 4 merit badges. I’m trying to "Start a new Merit Badge and when I click on that, it takes me all the way back to the page where I pick the Scout Troop I’m the Scoutmaster of - THERE IS A PROBLEM IN SCOUTBOOK!
It sounds like the Scout has a membership in both a troop and pack. End the pack membership and you should be able to add a merit badge.
In addition to ending the Scout’s Membership with the pack in Scoutbook, you might also need to talk to your council about his registration. It looks like he has a multiple pack / troop registration, but they should have transferred him from the pack to the troop.
