Merit Badge Completion - Needs to be Awarded/Awarded

Hi,

I am advancement chair and currently learning the ropes. On occasion as I input the merit badge completions for our scouts, a scout will appear as awarded, yet I only inputted for completion. I’ve had to delete the merit badge and restart again. I must be doing something wrong, please help. I currently have a scout who completed two merit badges, and one comes up as awarded.

Are you entering them in Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting.org) or Internet Advancement (advancements.scouting.org)? The processes are slightly different in each interface.
