Can't approve NOAA Device pins past #8

I have a Scout whose National Outdoor Achievement Award (Aquatics) devices I need to enter. She already has device pins 1-8 entered previously and I need to enter her new device pins that she earned this summer. However, when I go to enter it in:

  • I can enter the “Final Completion Date”
  • I can click “Mark as Approved/Recorded”
  • However, when I click “Save,” it says: “Error: Could not determine previous Device Award”
  • Also, there is a box under the “Quick Entry” that says, “This Advancement has no requirements”

I tried a refresh and I also tried re-approving her device pin #8, just in case Scoutbook Plus was not recognizing the transfer from Scoutbook Legacy. But that didn’t work either.

Any suggestions on how to key her device pin awards? Thank you!

@KellyCiric what is the Member # (no names) of the Scout? Council can enter the item in the meantime

Hi, it is 14300808. I went to the council office previously and they had the same issue as me and were not able to enter it. However, I was still able to give her the awards.

OK let us take a look @KellyCiric - those devices are a pain with little ROI for IT work.
