Until recently, parents have been able to “Set Up an Account Your Scout Can Use” by going to “Edit Extended Information” on a Scout’s profile in Scoutbook. (See Scoutbook Tutorial for Parents (SB) - Scoutbook Knowledge Base) Now, this page directs to the main profile editing page in the new Scoutbook, but I can’t find an option to activate the youth account.
@MarkusRenno Edit Extended is still correct - if you do not see option that usually means the scout has an account or might have a parent email in the field - if you post BSA # of Scout (no names) we can look
I think you are clicking edit profile. Edit extended info does not redirect to scoutbook plus.
A better way for a Scout to get access to Scoutbook is for them to create a my.scouting.org account then log in via that ID. When they create the my.scouting.org ID, they will be able to match the account to their current BSA Member ID.

@MarkusRenno yes the User has a login name - (firstname)(middleInitial)(lastname) - last login was 6/23/24
