If my kids baseball and soccer apps can make it work, BSA should make it priority. I am not buying that is is cost prohibitive to get this corrected. The Scouts picture is critical to the adoption of scout book usage by parents and older scouts, the picture guides the user as to which is their profiled to RSVP. The user experience is based upon trust (trustworthy) and courtesy. As a volunteer it is hard enough lead pack and troops, provide programming & events as well as recruiting. Its time for BSA to meet its commitment to its members in the 21st century. Scouts BSA needs to make the commitment and let us know when this is projected to be resolved.

Itās being worked on. Itās not that they donāt have the budget to fix this issue. Itās that they donāt have the budget to fix every issue immediately. There are plenty of issues that have been around a lot longer than this, but this has definitely leapt ahead of many of them.
While it may seem like an easy thing to fix, it apparently isnāt so straight forward. Keep in mind, this involves getting systems to talk to each other that werenāt built to talk to each other.

My boy scout son figured a work around. Profile photos entered through the Scout Book App will show up in Scout Book. 
We havenāt been told a target date, but we know they are working on it.
We never said it was cost prohibitive, what we said is that there are higher priority items that need to be addressed first.
We do know the developers are actively working on a fix but at this point, the fix is not ready. The BSA does not make target dates publicly available. When the fix is released, it will be announced in the change log.

I see that your last response is marked as the solution to this topic and that the thread will close a day after the last the last response. I expect that more people will have this question come up and generate new inquiries. Could this thread stay open? That would be helpful for those of us who are invested in the issue and awaiting for notice that we can go in and start uploading pictures.

Well @FitzFitzgerald it is funny you think Staff even looks at the forums. SUAC is all Volunteers - investing hours every day. So take a Big breath and take a step back please. This is a minor issue at best.

@DonovanMcNeil - well statedā¦ and it dies not impeed working in what scoutbook is aboutā¦ advancement. I think we should close this down and link to the change log.
