Changing the Earn X number of badges

Is there a way to change the merit badge listed for #3 of a rank advancement. For the Star Rank it has six, but the profile has his LifeSaving merit badge (which he completed recently), however in his Handbook he used his welding MB which he completed last year. It’s causing problems on dating going forward.

There is a known issue with Star and LIfe #3. The system is supposed to pick the MBs based on completion date. There is no way to change what it selects, but today it is selecting the wrong MBs.
