Charter not showing up in Scoutbook

Hello! I am very new to understanding Scoutbook and I tried to go through all the questions before posting. I am not sure if I am supposed to post my similar question here or start a new thread so I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask.

We were in a similar situation where processing at the Council level was taking time and in the meantime my cub scout was getting kicked out of her membership. I was told National would have to fix it but it seems like National is no longer dealing directly with nonCouncil members. As this was happening we were told to just “Add Member” so we are in a position where my cub scout has a lot of memberships to the same den but with different dates.

I was told by her cub scout leader to make sure we have this cleaned up ASAP because we are moving soon and she is concerned that my cub scout’s records will be compromised during the clean up of the error and she will be unable to give credit.

@AlexaJuchnik The issue was that she wasn’t registered between Jan 24 and Apr 1. She should be fine, now, as I see she’s been listed in Scoutbook since April 4. I requested a position sync for good measure. Have you had any issues since April 4?

It is my understanding that the lack of registration for that time was due to a lag in processing; she’s continually been in Scouts. Do you know if this time of unregistration will cause issues for her? If so, do you know how we’d go about remedying that? If it will not cause issues I’m fine, I just don’t want this to bite us somehow.

It was weird that a registration ended mid month. I don’t have any idea what would cause that. It really shouldn’t matter though as she’s in Cub Scouts. No one is checking registration dates for Cub Scouts.

Complete Roster missing from Scoutbook! Did a server go down somewhere?

@DoyleMallory It looks like the pack’s charter expired 01/31/2022.

We are rechartered, Crisis adverted. Although it looks like we paid for a scout that did not recharter. Can we get a refund for that scout and have them removed? Thanks

You’d have to take that up with your council.
