Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Scout #142029171 is the legal ward of adult #142029171. He signed him up online in my.scouting and is listed as the adult on the Application.
When I look at the Scout profile, there is no connection to that adult. However, when I attempt to add that adult I get an error message that the connection already exist. I think everything is fine behind the scenes but it’s odd that nothing shows up on the UI for this connection.
You shouldn’t need to create the connection between the two if they signed-up online. How long ago did they sign-up?
Depending on what some of the SUAC can see in the membership database, you may need to talk to council to get the scout/guardian relationship straightened out in the database.
@AndrewBrezinsky Ward of holds no weight in Scouting IT - in the registrar system there is a GUARDIAN checkbox - council needs to turn that on for the relationship
