I’m in Troop 53 in Transatlantic Council. We just converted to a family troop in Scoutbook Plus. Before the conversion, our boys and girls were listed in the Troop 53 Boys. Since the conversion, all of the girls and their parents are missing. How can we get them and their parents added back to our troop?
@KayHassler- is the roster complete on my.scouting.org ?
@Stephen_Hornak Yes, it is.
@KayHassler- it would help if the member id of some missing scouts would be posted here
Scouts: 140856166, 141764242, 141831770, 141935357
The roster on my.scouting.org says their renewal expired on 31Jan26. However, I know that they had already renewed and didn’t exire until later.
@Stephen_Hornak Here are the parents’ IDs: 140780207, 141764240, 141831771, 141935356
@KayHassler- i wonder if you set the roster filter in scoutbook plus to include expired it will list them. I think this may be a one that needs a conversation with the council registrar if they are showing expired but have a renewal receipt.
@Stephen_Hornak I’ve tried that. It still doesn’t show them. In my.scouting.org, it shows their registration as Multiple while the boys show re-registered.
@KayHassler they are all only in the Female troop - not the troop you are in
@DonovanMcNeil There isn’t a female troop anymore. It was merged with the boys troop, and they showed up in the boys troop until it was changed to a family troop at the beginning of February. I will get with council. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something in ScoutBook Plus also. Thank you.
@KayHassler the image is reading from the national database. There is a Female troop and all those MIDs are still in it and good, they are not good in the Family troop.
This is interesting as you can’t join that troop, and if you search through the council, it does not come up. I’ll get with council. Thank you for your help.
As noted, you need to work with Council to see if their registrations were renewed. Multiple means their primary/paid registration is in a different unit. So, it is possible their paid registration was renewed in the G Troop but not Family. If that is the case Council can transfer their paid registration to the Family Troop.
As others have advised, you’ll need to work with your council registrar on how to finish the conversion process. The registrar in my council only took responsibility for expiring multiple registrations in the new family Troop. A Troop key three then had to initiate the youth transfers from the hold unit to the new family troop.
If you have any adult scouters with primary registrations in the hold unit, they will have to initiate their own transfers to the family troop. Make sure your council registrar has first expired any previous multiple registration in the family troop.
