Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Good morning, I did the refresh as instructed. These scouts are no longer showing up in scoutbook plus and they were renewed by my troop. They show up in scoutbook and my.scouting. Please advise.
This Scout had his old BSA member ID number (from former council) on his Scoutbook account. I have fixed it. You might need to wait up to 24 hours before the Scout shows up in Scoutbook Plus.
How do we remove the old troop information? I used to be able to do this, but now I cannot. They transferred to my troop last summer. Current troop: 74. Old troop: 140.
NOTE: THIS DOES NOT CHANGE THEIR REGISTRATIONS. TO TRANSFER A SCOUT AND CHANGE THEIR REGISTRATIONS, DO NOT USE THIS PAGE, INSTEAD FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS HERE. Once transfers occur in the official membership system linked here, Scouts will be automatically transferred in Scoutbook within 48 hours.
This is the notice at the top of the screen. It won’t let you end a membership.
@JenniferSchooley Please contact the local council and ask them to look up the Scout with first initial “P.” using their Registrar Tools.
In the “Relationships” tab / section, ask them to please remove the Dad’s parent relationship. Then ask them to add the Dad back under his correct (primary) BSA member ID number: 141031274.
This will help to prevent future issues, which might be caused by having the parent relationship under a secondary BSA member ID number.
