COR unable to approve adult leader

I’m assisting our COR in accepting a new adult application. He’s done this many times before, so I’m confident he knows the process. He provided this update: “I do see her as paid and ready to accept. I am able to accept her, but am unable to assign her a position within the pack, that option is grayed out, and she therefore is not accepted.”

The MID of the adult leader is 141876991.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Maybe there’s a lag between acceptance by the COR and the ability to assign a position because of the background check requirement?

He will most likely have to work with the council registrar to see what is up.

Hi @CharleyHamilton ,

No lag. When the COR approves an application, they have to choose a position for the person.

Is it possible the COR has more than one MID and the one associated with his My.Scouting account is not the one he is registered as COR with?

If that’s the case, they’re probably back to what Matt suggested: probably need to call counsel to get clarification and/or submit a MemberCare ticket to national.

Could you provide the COR’s member number?

Thank you all for the lively discussion. Our COR has approved a number of adult applications lately, so I suspect it’s not a user issue. Could be, though! His MID is 119279547.

@WilliamElton

I do not see anything wrong with the COR’s registration. I suggest the COR contact your Council.
