I have a scout whose name was entered as “John (Jack)”.
Father is John, scout is Jack. How do we correct this to remove the John from his profile? BSA ID 133053039. Thank you.
That is how parents entered it on Application - I imagine his name is John with nickname Jack. Check with parents - then council can fix - if I am correct - you can change preferred name to Jack in Edit Profile
His legal name needs to be entered into the First Name field and nicknames entered into the Preferred Name field. Contact your council registrar to have the name corrected.
