Scout name changed to Parent

Someone one of my scout’s names was changed to his dad. However, when I go into his profile it still lists his name, nothing in the preferred.

I know we don’t do names but pretty hard to show otherwise.

Wyatt is the kid, this is his profile/ID. Nathan is the dad and he has his own profile/ID.

As you can see it says Wyatt and nothing in the preferred Name. I caught this in Scoutbook but it’s here in plus as well.

@TravisStephens The Scout’s nickname (preferred name) is the issue.

Try changing the preferred name in Scoutbook Plus to the Scout’s first name.

That worked but his name is Wyatt not Nathan. This scout has been with me for over a year and it said Wyatt up until sometime in the last 3 days.

I feel like adding a preferred name to cover his actual name is a band aid over a bigger issue.

Went straight back to Nathan.

Everything is right in the data base. So erasing the Preferred name fails?

I tried again setting it, logging out, clearing cache and signing back in (then removing preferred name)…something there worked.

It’s all good now.
