Delete Duplicate Scout BSA ID #1403866570 in "Scouts not in a Den"

One of my Cub Scouts, BSA ID #1403866570, appears twice in Scoutbook. He appears correctly in Tiger Den 3 (see image1). But he is also showing up in the “Scouts not in a Den” section of the Pack page (see image2), even though he is in the Tiger Den 3. I don’t see any duplicate IDs from my end. I checked the roster and I noticed that he has a strange “1” under the Position Column (see image3). This happened after the youth’s registration expired, and then he renewed.

I want the Scout to be deleted from “Scouts not in a Den.” Can someone help?

You should only need to provide the BSA ID number, not the rest of the information.

It looks like the scout has two active “memberships” in Scoutbook. You should be able to go to the scout’s Memberships and put an end date on the membership not in a den.

Your suggestion worked! I put an end date to his Youth Membership but kept the Tiger Member active. Thanks!

@ShirleyHou Please do not post Scout names or other PII. Usually the BSA member ID number is all we need.

The Scout has 2 memberships in Scoutbook: one is a pack membership and the other is a den membership.

  1. In Scoutbook, go to [Scout]'s Membership.
  2. Click on the pack membership.
  3. Add a date ended. (I would recommend using the same date as the date started.)
  4. Keep the box checked next to “Position Approved”.
  5. Click “Update” to save.
