Den leader approved awards bypass Needs Purchasing Report

Awards are typically approved by the den leader or me ( Advancement Chair) and move to the Needs Purchasing report. A few of our awards have bypassed the Needs Purchasing and went straight to the Needs Awarding report! (2022 Protect Yourself, Bobcat, Recruiter). Is that supposed to happen? I processed about 80 awards this month and this exception took place with an additional 5. Please let me know if there is a way to prevent it so awards are not missed.

Awards will not appear on the Needs Purchasing Report if they are marked awarded or on another closed Needs Purchasing Report.

There was an issue fixed today where Baloo the Builder was not appearing on Needs Purchasing but we have not seen this with any other award.

Hi Ed - Our exceptions (recruiter/2024 Bobcat/protect yourself) were neither marked awarded or on another Needs Purchasing report. Check out Pack 365 - Tiger - Bernardi - Recruiter. Approved by a committee member on 8/28 and it went straight to the Needs Awarding report!

Post a Scouts BSA# and the Award

Sounds like they are on the SB+ advancement Report as Bobcat 24 had to be entered there

Had to be entered on SB+? I thought that was read only?

I don’t understand - post a scouts BSA#? Is there a number I can call to ask support questions?

Post a Scouts BSA# and the Award

Each person registered with the BSA has a Member #. You can find this next to the Scout’s name on the unit roster in SB+ or the Scout’s page in SB. We use the number to look the Scout up in the database. Please do not post the Scout’s name.

@ElizabethBertelson - is this still an issue for you or have you figured it out ?

There is still an issue but what I am understanding is that the issue I had happened with one type of adventure but not with the adventures I stated. I assume that my issue was recorded for the developers. I just need to check all reports before issuing awards instead of just looking at the one report.

@ElizabethBertelson - I do not know if it was reported as you were asked for BSA ID and the award but provided none of that. It seemed that you did not understand what was requested.
