HI, all,
Just to make sure that the information was out there:
I re-took the mandatory YPT sequence today (SCO_3008, SCO_3009, SCO_3010, SCO_3011), but show a strange set of completions in my list at my.scouting:
Note that it shows two “copies” of SCO_3010, but no completion of SCO_3011 (the test at the end). However, looking at the individual module completions at the Training site shows that SCO_3011 was also completed today:
The only irregularity I noted during the training was that my.scouting timed me out during the course of the training (somewhere through SCO_3010). I logged out and back in, then finished out SCO_3010 and completed SCO_3011.
Also, in case it’s relevant, I allowed the “timer circles” (i.e. the countdown clock and decaying circle graphic) to run down completely to move me from module to module, rather than clicking either of the Continue/Next buttons that were displayed. I’ll give it overnight to see if the issue clears itself up, and report back.
The issue was observed on the most current version of Firefox on Windows, not running in Incognito Mode. I didn’t note any other odd interactions of any plugins, although the scaling was off somewhat. Specifically, the frame within the browser window partially obscured the “Continue” button at the bottom of the slides. Resetting zoom level of both the browser (already 100%, tried increasing and decreasing zoom) and OS display settings (already at 100%, but tried increasing and decreasing zoom) didn’t resolve the issue. I could see the button well enough to click on it, but the lower 1/3 to 1/4 was concealed by the frame, and scrolling didn’t move the contents of the frame.
If it doesn’t clear, I’ll push it up the chain via my council to get it investigated, but I figured if others were seeing similar issues, I would mention it.
ETA: It took a logout and login (or about a half hour) for the SCO_3011 to appear as completed in the list. The “duplicate” SCO_3010 remains in the list. Y01 is still showing as not re-completed. I’m guessing there’s some sort of propagation time for each piece to sync up?
ETA2:
So, for those who are impatient as I am, apparently it just takes time to propagate down the line:
Thanks for Donovan and Jennifer for both diving on the question and clearing up whether this is common or not. :^)
