YPT Not Showing Completed (Another One)

Good evening, Scouting parent here, Member ID (removed by Moderatotr). I have completed the YPT training in September, all modules, but the renewal date never updated. I did the first module and the test again tonight to see if maybe I missed something, but no luck so far. Could someone help me out?

@DustyCourtney - you must complete ALL four modules within 60 days. Taking one module and the test will not suffice. You need all four.

@DustyCourtney - you took the manditory ypt ? Or the other? Perhaps a screenshot of the modules will help.


When you look in your my.scouting training completions, what are the dates showing there for SCO_3008, SCO_3009, SCO_3010, and SCO_3011? Those are the four modules. If one is showing up with an “old” date, that’s what’s causing the issue.

@DustyCourtney The issue is that you have 3 BSA member ID numbers.

  1. Log in to your my.Scouting account.
  2. Click on “Manage Member ID”.
  3. Set one of the other BSA member ID numbers as primary, and let it stay primary for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Set BSA member ID number 3 as primary and wait for at least 10 minutes.
  5. [Note: Do not log in to Scoutbook or Scoutbook Plus while you have one of the secondary numbers set as primary, or you will likely create a duplicate Scoutbook acount.]
  6. Set your BSA member ID number ending in -398 as primary.
  7. You might need to wait up to 24 hours, but all of your training should get copied onto your primary BSA member ID number.
