Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
There is a new bug in my Pack’s Scoutbook Plus where our Cub Scout Pack is double listed. As a result lots of events show up duplicated. One Pack is labeled “Pack 122” and the other is labeled “Pack 0122”
Turning off 1 calendar turns off Both Calendars. This is true not only in my Scoutbook plus, but at least 1 more adult leader as well.
Here’s a picture of duplicate pack events but only 1 of each of two troops events.
@BrianLittle - I suspect that there is someone on the roster that has a membership or leader position in the 0122 pack. This will require stepping through the roster to find the individual. Could be perhaps someone listed as a UC where the unit has to be defined to add them
We only have about 30 scouts and about 10 leaders so I can step through that. I’ll do that in the legacy Scoutbook, just the same way that I did it for myself?
Then I touch base with council to have them moved/edited?
The trixy bit is that the Pack 122 and the Pack 0122 units are “tied” together in that when I uncheck the calendar for Pack 0122, the calendar for Pack 122 turns off too. And scheduling an event for Pack 122 gets duplicated on the Pack 0122 calendar. If I find someone I’ll check back in but keep mulling it over.
I think the unit is tagged 2 ways for gender. Once as Family, once as Boys and Girls. You can see in your Profile drop down I bet. It is reported. And the Boys/Girls is the second calendar instance that does not say Family cause the system does not know what to do.
@Stephen_Hornak Yea, When I go to my.scouting it lists the pack as 0122.
@DonovanMcNeil You’re on to something. I never noticed before (I suspect something changed) but the leaders are in Family, and the scouts in are in Boys/Girls.
I am trying to enter our calendar as well, having the same issue, we have used this in the past with no issues. I’ve tried the same things as Brian (turning one off etc.). We’ve had no changes to charter for at least a few years.
