The newer 2022 version has (incorrect) wording changes to the new 24 months Eagle BoR rule.
The incorrect part is that in 2022, there is no more 3 months after the 18th birthday. Yet they left it in there, when adding the 24 month information.
Jan 2020:
Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts who have completed all requirements prior to their 18th birthday may be reviewed within three months after that date with no explanation. Refer to the Guide to Advancement, No. 33088, section 8.0.3.1, for boards of review to be held between three and six months, or more than six months after the 18th birthday.
Jan 2022:
Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts who have completed all requirements prior to their 18th birthday may be reviewed within three months after that date with no explanation. Refer to the Guide to Advancement, No. 33088, section 8.0.3.1, for boards of review to be held up to 24 months after the 18th birthday.
The 2022 version needs to be corrected, and THEN, Scoutbook / Internet Advancement should be updated to produce the latest, corrected version. Yes, it will change again in June. But are we gonna need to have this same discussion in June? Or will things to done now, to ensure the June 2022 version will be correct on July 1, 2022 - when generated via Scoutbook and Internet Advancement?
BTW, Bill Nelson, when they finally put that June 2022 version, could you please ask them to update the order in which fields are ordered when using the Tab key? The current forms jump all over the two pages like they are drunk! Especially the merit badge sections.
Example: Look at requirement 2, the reference names. The current form has you enter all six names, then all six addresses, then all six phones number, finally all six email addresses. I should tab horizontally to enter the name, address, phone number and email for reference #1, then move to reference #2, then #3, etc.
In the merit badge section it does badges 1 thru 7, then jumps to badge 14, then to badge 8… .WHAT?!
But badges 15 through 21, is the worse… You enter all the badge names, then it jumps to their respective dates… The back (2nd) page seems to do everything vertically, when it should tab through each related line, horizontally.
