Eagle Rank Requirement #7

Hi! I am parent of Scout 131404666. I was updating my son’s Eagle requirement #1 and must have accidentally updated Eagle requirement #7 BOR. Now it shows that he had completed his Eagle. Date is grayed out and I can’t delete the date. How can I fix it? Our Unit Advancement Chair and Council don’t know what to do either.

@Carmel_MaySimmons- as the requirement was marked approved and completed by BSA administrator it would indicate that local council took the action so they should be able to remove it. The registrar is the person to go to and they can not figure it out they have a working group to ask or can submit a ticket to national.

Your Council can use Registrar Tools to remove approval for Eagle. If they cannot figure out how to do so, they have contact at National that can help them.

Do you know the date (or approximate date) you tried to set Req 1? Because of a bug in setting audit data we don’t have good dates for when this occurred. It may help in the investigation.

When you updated Eagle was it from the Scouting app or the Scoutbook Plus website? What were the steps as you recall?

The date I used was 9/11/25 entered on the 10/22/25

I updated from the app using my phone, I choose advancements and it opened on Scoutbook Plus, I entered the date where I thought was requirement #1, tried to delete the date but it won’t let me.

Neither. It maybe website that I saved in my Home Screen, apologies for the confusion. After the error, I downloaded the app with red background, tried I but I can’t delete dates from there either.

Scouting America IT has identified the issue. They will be fixing the issue and removing the completion date from this Eagle.
