Email question

We have a father who signed up for SB and now next to his name it reads “No Emails” in red. He has not received emails and there is an email in his profile.

He needs to log in to Scoutbook and go to My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → E-Mail and turn off the opt out slider so that it is gray and to the left.

Just as a further note, it’s not uncommon for folks to accidentally hit the “Unsubscribe” link, when aiming for the “RSVP here” link in Scoutbook reminder emails. I’ve had several parents do so inadvertently in the past year. I’ve taken to emailing them from my account (not via Scoutbook) whenever I find one who is marked “No Emails” to ensure it was intentional. Out of the 9 people who have turned up with “No Emails” set, only one actually intended to do that, and it was because his work email address was associated with his Scoutbook email, and it was “cluttering up” his work inbox.
